Wisconsin Notices and Posters
The following posters are mandatory for Wisconsin employers so that employees have access to and information about applicable labor laws. These posters can be downloaded individually from the links below, however, the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development also makes a poster packet available for employers with documents in both English and Spanish. This packet includes the entire set of 10 posters (21 pages) in one single PDF file.

All Employers
The following posters are required for all employers in Wisconsin:
Fair employment law poster
Minimum wage rates poster: the second page presents maximum allowances for board and lodging. This second page is optional.
Employers Subject to Specific laws
The following posters are required only for employers that are subject to the laws indicated below:
Child labor law poster: required for employers that hire minors. An exception applies to agricultural and domestic service employers.
Honesty testing poster: required for employers that use honesty testing.
Special minimum wage rates poster: required for employers that hire workers under a special minimum wage license issued by the Department of Workforce Development.
Retaliation protection for health care workers poster: required for health care providers and for employers that own or manage a health care facility.
Unemployment benefits poster: required for employers subject to Wisconsin’s unemployment insurance laws.

Posters Subject to Employer Size
The following posters apply to employers that meet the criteria specified below:
Business closing or mass layoffs poster: required for employers with 50 or more employees. Employees may be excluded if they work fewer than 20 hours per week or if they have worked for fewer than six months.
Family and medical leave poster: required for employers with 50 or more employees. Employers with between 25 and 49 employees must post a notice describing their own family and medical leave policies.

Bone marrow and organ donation leave poster: required for employers with 50 or more employees. Employers with between 25 and 49 employees must post a notice describing their own bone marrow and organ donation leave policies.
Cessation of health care benefits notice: required for employers with 50 or more employees in Wisconsin.

The following poster requirements apply only to public employers.
