IV&V and Testing

EMKS recognizes and supports the need for you to independently verify and validate that the requirements captured and the products implemented meet your need, match your expectations, and live up to your mission. We have developed standardized, repeatable processes and approaches to perform Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) testing and assessments. These processes have been proven efficient and effective in supporting small and large-scale programs and projects for the Department of Veterans Affairs, including their Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) program, and have made us a preferred vendor for the State of Florida.

Independent Verification & Validation

We built on our biggest successes, lessons learned, and 20/20 hindsight to develop an IV&V approach that supports you from requirements gathering to sustainment. We make it our mission to understand your requirements, processes, users, and systems to verify and validate you get exactly what you paid for. Our streamlined, robust IV&V support system capabilities and resources are adaptable, flexible, and highly responsive, allowing us to meet the increased velocity and demand of delivery cycles.

This customer-centric model is supported by the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodology, which incorporates Customer Centricity as one of its seven core competencies and enables us to accelerate the transition from rigid traditional testing models into a model driven by continuous testing activities. This approach supports customer testing needs while adding support that focuses intently on automation and integration activities, allowing EMKS’s IV&V testing programs to quickly pivot and adjust based on critical needs without compromising schedule or quality. EMKS has demonstrated success in conducting comprehensive IV&V of systems architecture, integration, performance, and functional/requirements validation to independently assess the efficacy of the system as it relates to customer requirements.
