EMKS is excited to announce that our Senior Biostatistician, Heather Mahaney, who supports the Traumatic Brain Injury Center of Excellence (TBICoE) contract, is a winner of the 2023 Leading for Impact: Women in Leadership Awards!
These awards recognize women mentoring & driving the industry's technology, business transformation, & modernization through their impactful leadership and mission-focused strategic programs across the Federal Civilian, Federal Health, and Military Health, Technology, and Consulting Community. The women who receive this award are creating the next positive disruption that will truly change how Federal agencies support their mission.
As Senior Biostatistician for EM Key Solutions, Heather provides subject matter expertise on statistical activities to address complex health concerns affecting the US military. Military data sources are disparate and contain substantial amounts of missing information. The quality of data complicates the type of analyses that can be performed and can result in flawed analysis that must be communicated to the highest level of leadership to facilitate change. Heather leads in changing data collection design and generating analyses transferring knowledge of data into actionable outcomes to ensure service members receive documented quality care and deliver timely, useable, and easily interpreted analysis.
We cannot be more excited to congratulate Heather for this well-deserved recognition.
