EMKS Announces Contract Award to Provide the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Veterans Health Administration (VHA), with Health Care (HC) Identity Management (IdM) Support

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla., August 14, 2024 - EMKS, a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) certified by the Small Business Administration (SBA) VetCert Program, announced today award of a contract to expand their support to the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) by providing the Health Care Identity Management (HC IdM) Program with a wide range of support.
“Support of the VA is foundational to EMKS,” said EMKS CEO Mike Snyder. “This contract award offers us new ways to help the more than nine million Veterans enrolled in the VA health care program, as well as their families, dependents, and caretakers.”
Together with subcontractor The McVey Company, Inc. (TMCI), EMKS will provide services to include identifying and resolving data discrepancies, anomalies and exceptions; completing data verification/validation resolution activities; resolving duplicate records; and providing daily/monthly HC IdM Contract Workload Metrics Reports containing statistics relating to the HC IdM Program workload. This contract expands on EMKS’s longterm support of VA, which has included a significant role providing robust program management, data strategy, issue resolution, quality assurance (QA), data analytics, and reporting services, along with rigorous risk-based testing for in-house VA Office of Information and Technology (OIT) products and commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) EHR Modernization (EHRM) Program product..
