Dr. Micheal Sizemore is a globally recognized leader in medical operations with more than 20 years of experience at the nexus of healthcare delivery, military operations, and high-threat environments. For EMKS, Dr. Sizemore brings an unmatched ability to lead high-impact healthcare initiatives across diplomatic, military, and expeditionary domains.
He has directed large-scale medical operations serving over 5,000 personnel at the British, Norwegian, Dutch, and Canadian Embassies, in addition to managing remote clinics in geographically dispersed and austere environments. His operational strategies—rooted in LEAN principles—have driven measurable improvements in patient satisfaction, quality outcomes, and organizational profitability. His deep understanding of the global medical services landscape has also enabled EMKS and its partners to anticipate evolving market needs and attract top-tier clinical talent.
Dr. Sizemore’s tactical expertise is equally robust. He has supported numerous contracts with Special Operations Consultants and the Global Operations Resources Group, providing medical leadership in complex, ambiguous, and high-risk settings. He also served as a dual-role medical provider and private security operator on Unexploded Ordnance (UXO) projects in Camp Wolf, Bayji, and Mosul, Iraq, in partnership with the Army Corps of Engineers. His experience includes high-profile protective details for High Value Targets (HVTs) and direct support of Foreign Internal Defense (FID) missions for Multi-National Forces – Iraq (MNF-I).
Internationally, Dr. Sizemore partnered with Kabul Medical University to develop and implement a clinical training program focused on care coordination and practitioner readiness. He has also worked with African governments to deliver medical training and support for forces operating in the Middle East and provided advisory support to Mobile Training Teams tasked with stabilizing Iraq’s military and civil infrastructure.
A proud U.S. Navy Veteran, Dr. Sizemore served as a Naval Corpsman in support of Marine Corps units and special warfare commands. His responsibilities included emergency care, minor surgeries, decompression therapy, and operational medical support for amphibious, airborne, and diving missions. He also operated hyperbaric chambers and submarine rescue systems while advising on the prevention and treatment of pressure-related injuries.
Beyond the field, Dr. Sizemore has contributed to pharmaceutical advancement through Contract Research Organization (CRO) initiatives in India, offering strategic leadership and scientific writing expertise. His longstanding relationships with healthcare entities such as Tricare have enabled world-class patient repatriation and Tier 1 care delivery across multiple theaters of operation.
Further elevating his impact, Dr. Sizemore has represented Department of Defense interests in legislative discussions with Congressional leaders and staff and has authored congressional testimonies on behalf of multiple USCENTCOM Commanders.
Dr. Sizemore holds a bachelor’s degree in Sports Medicine, an MBA, and a Ph.D. in Emergency Management from the University of Delhi. He is a former two-sport collegiate athlete, lettering in Football and Track & Field. He is also a devoted husband to Izzieyah and proud father to three children: Eneida, Noah, and Matthew.
