Lesley Lambert

As Chief Financial Officer of EMKS, Lesley provides overall strategic and financial leadership to the organization by overseeing the financial planning, accounting, government reporting, treasury, and auditing functions. Lesley’s financial and strategic expertise is a vital component for achieving EMKS’s operational objectives regarding the company’s growth initiatives, business development efforts, and program management while also maintaining regulatory compliance. Lesley has over 25 years of accounting experience, the last 14 years of which were focused specifically on government contract accounting.

Prior to joining EMKS, she successfully helped companies of varying sizes navigate the complexities of government contract accounting, reporting, and audit requirements. She supported contracts of all types across several major U.S. government agencies as well as NATO. In her most recent role, Lesley led the finance function for a highly successful non-profit that holds Department of Defense (DoD) Other Transaction Authority (OTA) contracts and whose mission was to rapidly deploy prototypes and improve technology for our country’s warfighters.

Lesley holds a Bachelor of Science in Commerce with concentrations in accounting and management from the University of Virginia along with an Associate of Science in Business Administration, summa cum laude, from Piedmont Virginia Community College. She also serves as Treasurer for Cindy’s Legacy Charity, a 501(c)3 charitable organization founded in honor of Cindy Martin that seeks to provide financial and personal administrative support to cancer fighters and their families.
